The Weldotron Model 7142 is a high production shrink tunnel designed for use with high speed automatic wrappers. The 7142 incorporates two independent shrink zones with separate air velocity controls to ensure proper shrink at high speeds. Its chain-driven, roller conveyor Is fan-cooled, and continuously variable at speeds up to 140 feet per minute. A simple hand lever adjustment switches rollers between rotate and non-rotate.
The Model 7142 shrink tunnel is also equipped with a precision temperature controller for accurate temperature control throughout its 450 degree range. It is caster-mounted for mobility and constructed of heavy duty steel for years of dependable performance in continuous production environments.
This is the last of four units we purchased as surplus assets. All were in operation in production and pre-tested prior to purchase. The unit has been checked out as best we can without connecting to 440 VAC, 3 ph which we do not have in our building.
